A LOVE story with a difference, I Loved You and I Loved You is a brand new fusion of drama and dance charting the extraordinary true story of young Welsh composer Morfydd Owen, who died almost 100 years ago in mysterious circumstances at the age of just 26..
Sweetshop Revolution bring this rapturous new production documenting Owen's life to The Courtyard on Tuesday, September 8.
Owen was considered to be one of Wales’s most talented musicians and composers, yet little is known about her and there are relatively few recordings of her work.
The production, half-way between dance and a play, charts her rise from humble beginnings to great success in music, and her tumultuous relationships with both the man she married and the man she loved.
Audiences can get 10 per cent off this show when booking two or more Love-themed shows, as part of The Courtyard’s Love Season.
I Loved You and I Loved You will be at The Courtyard on Tuesday, September 8 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
