BLUE Orange Theatre Company present an exciting adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre as part of The Courtyard’s Page to Stage season.

From an early age, Jane Eyre suffers physical and psychological abuse, firstly at the hands of her aunt and cousins and later during her early years at Lowood School. Despite continued adversity, she flourishes and succeeds in acquiring a post as governess at Thornfield Hall.

Jane’s life appears ideal as she falls in love with her new home and its master, Edward Rochester, a forthright companion who flouts convention and wins her with his brusque charm, but there are plenty of twists and turns Jane reveals that, 'Reader, I married him'.

The Courtyard is also offering a great deal for its new season: buy two or more Page to Stage adaptations and get 50p off each ticket.

Jane Eyre will be at The Courtyard on Thursday, May 7 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
