PIANIST Danny Driver returns to Hereford to perform at The Courtyard on Sunday
As one of Britain’s most respected and versatile pianists, Driver has performed to audiences across the world - on Sunday he will be performing Beethoven’s Hammerklavier, which astonishes with its virtuosity, internal contradictions, and sublime slow movement, and remains a daunting pianistic challenge 200 after its composition. In addition to Hammerklavier, Driver will also be performing lighter fare by Handel, Chopin, and Chopin-inspired Mazurkas by British composer Thomas Adès.
Free transport is available to this event as part of The Courtyard’s transport scheme. Minibuses will pick customers up from Ross and Leominster an hour before the show. The transport is free with a ticket but must be pre-booked online or by contacting the box office.
Danny Driver will be at The Courtyard on Sunday, May 15 at 2.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
