On Sunday, April 3, the exciting young Astaria String Quartet will play a programme of three beautiful works at the Lion Ballroom, Leominster. These are an inspired work by the 18-year-old Mendelssohn, his Quartet in A minor, together with two towering masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire, Dvorak’s ‘American’ Quartet and Schubert’s Quartet in A minor ‘Rosamunde’.

The Astaria thrilled the audience on their last visit to the Ballroom two years ago with their irresistible blend of youthful passion, technical ability and superb artistry.

The Astaria Quarter will be at The Lion Ballroom on Sunday, April 3 at 3pm. Tickets available from the Orpheus Box Office on 01905 570979, online at www.orpheus-events.com, from Roundabout Stationery, Broad Street, Leominster or on the door.
