THE Cider Barn, the popular café, bar and restaurant in Pembridge, is well-known for its monthly, charity music night. Over recent months local bands such as Puma Creek, The Pedigrees and Whiskey River have performed in the 450 year-old barn and many charities have benefited as a result.

Now, for the Summer season, The Cider Barn is introducing young, less well-established artists to its audiences. On Friday, June 19 , when the chosen charity is Help For Heroes, Jonathan Evans, a talented solo performer from Ross-on-Wye will be performing. Jonathan plays acoustic guitar and is a contemporary folk singer whose main influence is Bob Dylan. Two more young singers, Hannah Davies and Bekki Cameron both talented young Hereford musicians have been booked to appear in the coming months.
