A STUNNING collection of songs made famous by the legendary Marlene Dietrich will be performed by Marina Laslo at The Courtyard next week.
Marlene Dietrich, the German born actress and singer, has long been an icon of all that is sultry, talented and glamorous. Her life and film appearances are legendary, yet Marlene transcended her material, imbuing each song with a passion and meaning that touched hearts across the world. Marina Laslo performs Dietrich’s songs with sumptuous, rich and tender vocals, combined with intense, touchable emotion and a voice that continues to captivate.
The show also features various archive material, personal objects and letters from the Marlene Dietrich estate.
The show is one of The Courtyard’s May to August Page to Stage events, and audiences can get 50p off each ticket when buying two or more Page to Stage adaptations.
