LIVEWIRE Central is an intensive music development week which runs from March 30 to April 3, presented by The Music Pool in The Pavilion on the Castle Green in Hereford.

The course offers participants, aged 12-20, the opportunity to come and write original music in collaboration with other young musicians, supported by high quality leadership from a number of professional musicians and music leaders.

The course is open to people of all abilities, so even if you've never played before, as long as you're keen and dedicated, you'll be making music you can be proud of by the end of the week.

Livewire Central ends with a gig at The Venue, formerly the Jailhouse, on Sunday, April 5, where participants will have the chance to showcase their music.

The cost of the week is £50, or £25 if you want to use the week to work on music production and recording. Apply for a bursary to help with the cost by explaining why Livewire Central would make a difference.
