DANCEFEST, the dance development organisation for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, is pleased to announce the return of Circuit, their youth dance tour, which has a packed programme of high quality new dance performed by young local talent.
This year more than 200 dancers are taking part in the tour, representing youth dance companies, community groups and schools. The performers have been working with choreographers, local dance artists and teachers to create varied performances, including contemporary, creative and urban dance styles.
The Hereford evenings will include urban work from 2 Faced Youth, Strictly Come Dancing style Nicola's School of Dance, and creative and contemporary dance performed by Dancefest’s youth companies including newly formed Elevate Junior youth company.
The Worcester evening has work from young choreographers with work from Unfold from the Black Country, Jo Martin Youth Dance from Honeybourne, Dancefest's Urban Boys, Translucent Dance Company and Wire and Elevate youth dance companies.
Circuit will be at Whitecross High Schoool on Tuesday, March 17 at 7pm, at Hereford College of Arts on Wednesday, March 18 at 7pm and at Bishop Perowne C of E Performing Arts College in Worcester on Friday, March 20 at 7.30pm.
