CONTEMPORARY songwriter Clyde Jefferson has brought together musicians from a broad spectrum of backgrounds to perform the culmination of 20 years of writing and performing diverse styles of music as he appears for Garway Live! on Saturday, December 6.
Drawing inspiration from rock, indie, prog, reggae, funk, soul, psychedelic and festival sound through to the present melting pot of influences, that is the sound of the Clyde Jefferson Band.
Clyde Jefferson started his musical career in the mid-90s, playing in various bands in the Bristol scene, including Red Dog, Jamanash, Taste of Tomorrow, Octavius Lupin, The Herbs and The River Gypsies, supporting bands such as Rhythymites, Chumbawumba, Back of Beyond, Ozric Tentacles, Hawkwind and Rory McCloud and he's spent many years gigging the festival scene.
