THE concert by the Aronowitz Ensemble on Thursday, May 1 at Malvern Theatres is the final concert of this season.
The ensemble has become a firm favourite with Malvern audiences over the past few years. Outstanding young international performers in their own right, their shared passion for chamber music brings them together in performances of high energy and commitment.
Their programme contrasts two string quintets: Bruckner is known for his large-scale works, but it was his Quintet that was one of his most-performed pieces during his lifetime. The Schubert Quintet is so well-known and loved that it rates as the third most popular choice on BBC’s Desert Island Discs.
