THERE will be an afternoon recital by John Hymas and Jeremy Fisher on Sunday afternoon in the Assembly Rooms in Presteigne, presented by Mid Border Arts.
Prizewinning piano accompanist Jeremy Fisher and composer and instrumentalist John Hymas will perform sonatas by Brahms (G major), Cesar Frank and Lachrymae for viola and piano by Britten.
John’s musical history has taken him from being a violist in symphony orchestras to fiddling and accordion playing in various genres including jazz, folk and tango.
Tickets for the recital at 3pm are £10 on the door.
The next event on the Mid Border Arts calendar is Box Tale Soup’s production of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey on Saturday, March 15.
