McCARTNEYS report keen interest in a small block of land near Talgarth recently.
The two little fields totalling 3.8 acres in all and running down to an picturesque wooded stream, attracted plenty of keen interest from a variety of customers.
Bidding started at £35,000 and peaked at £71,000 – over £18,500 per acre.
Auctioneer Ryan Williams said it proves that there is plenty of demand for these pretty little pieces of land and that it is hard to beat an auction to get the very best price for this sort of thing in an open and transparent way.
