BRITAIN’S book capital is making a name for itself in the antiques world – with Hay-on-Wye selected to appear on a new BBC series The Great Antiques Map of Britain.
Expert Tim Wonnacott will be visiting the border town in April to film the show, which looks to use local people’s antiques as a springboard into exploring the history if the area.
The BBC are calling on anyone throughout the county who might have antiques or collectables that reveal something about Herefordshire to get in touch.
Those chosen will get to tap into Tim’s knowledge and, in Antiques Roadshow-style, find out what their item might be worth.
