GOLDEN girl Josie Pearson enthralled and inspired members of the city of Hereford Rotary Club last week when she was the guest speaker.
Josie – paralympian gold medallist in the discus in the London 2012 games – spoke about her journey to the top of her game and the new challenges that await her.
Olympic bosses have ruled out Josie’s particular discus event from the games in 2016 in Rio, so she won't be able to defend her medal title, but instead aims to bring home the gold in her second sport, club throwing.
After answerving questions from the floor Josie was thanked by Rotarian Heather Gorringe.
