PART of a Hereford footpath is closed today (Sunday) due to safety concerns related to a nearby house.
A cordon has been put in place in Eign Street, from the junction with Friars Street to just before you get to Victoria Street.

It is understood that some of the blockwork on one of the houses below the roof has fallen onto the path, next to NY Barber Shop.
Pedestrians are advised to cross over the road by the traffic lights to continue on the road towards Whitecross Road.
However, despite the cordon being in place, some people have ignored it and continued to walk along the path towards Victoria Street.
