RADWAY Bridge Garden Centre is hosting an upcoming event in collaboration with David Austin Roses, Britain’s most famous rose grower.

Recently the roses gained attention as former footballer David Beckham posted the planting of his new David Austin Rose.

On Saturday, June 15, Tim Burge, the head of product information and trialling at David Austin Roses will be here with us all day at Radway Bridge Garden Centre.

A day brimming with choices, insights on growth, and valuable care tips from one of the most esteemed rose growers. After receiving his 28th gold medal at Chelsea Flower Show last month, David Austin Roses released the glorious Emma Bridgewater Rose. This exquisite shrub rose was 12 years in development with double petals of many layers of pinks – so it resembles "an impressionist painting".

Mr Burge was part of the trialling of this rose. With over 25 years of commitment to David Austin Roses, he oversees the trials of both pre-commercial varieties and the commercial range.

"Our main goal is to provide people with exquisite, healthy, and dependable roses," he said.

"Discover the ideal rose for your garden with David Austin Roses and receive guidance and tips on cultivation."

This drop-in event aims to accommodate as many people as possible, offering answers to all your rose-related questions. Attendance is free. Just drop by anytime on the day, between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
