AN ABUSIVE man has been handed a restraining order after an incident in a Herefordshire town.
Darren Staples entered a guilty plea to one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in May.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 42-year-old had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman in Leominster with intent to cause her harassment, alarm, or distress, in an incident on October 4 last year.
