A HEREFORDSHIRE bar that banned hoodies has extended its opening hours.

The Quarters, in Leominster's South Street, opened in the old Ducker bar in December, promising a fun, safe atmosphere with a wide selection of drink offerings and music to get you on the dancefloor.

After a full renovation with soundproofing measures installed, the team at the bar has announced that they will be lifting their previous 11.30 pm door restriction and will now open from 9.30 pm to 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

“We are delighted to announce that our recently applied for late licence has been granted,” a spokesperson said.

“We have lots in the planning to keep you all entertained and dancing into the early hours.

“A huge thank you to all of our customers and neighbours who have supported us over the past 6 months and let’s all raise a glass to the future.”

The bar first hit the headlines when the team announced their intended dress code, which included a ban on hoodies. This ban has since been lifted.
