THERE could be more problems on the roads tomorrow (Monday) with freezing fog and rain set to hit the county.

According to BBC Weather, mist and fog will form in the early hours, which could cause problems come rush hour.

Then rain will fall during the afternoon, which will continue until the rest of the day.

It comes after Herefordshire was hit with both snow and rain yesterday (Saturday).

Bromyard was particularly hit hard by the snow during the morning, leading to treacherous conditions on the roads

This was the case on the A465 Hereford to Bromyard road, which was temporarily blocked by an overturned van. A lorry also left the road on the A417 near Ashperton.

However, as soon as the snow stopped, the rain fell which caused its own problems.

A car got stuck in floodwater in Lower Bullingham Lane, Hereford, while a van was reportedly trapped in a ford in Wellington.

As of Sunday morning, there are two flood alerts in place - in the river Leadon catchment and river Lugg south of Leominster respectively.
