A THIEF who stole an angle grinder and a camera from shops in Hereford has been up before the magistrates.
Rebecca Smith entered guilty pleas to two counts of theft from a shop when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford in March.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 24-year-old had stolen an angle grinder and a power tool from Hereford's Holmer Road B&Q shop on September 20.

She had also stolen a camera from Currys in Hereford on January 26, the magistrates were told.
Smith, who is of no fixed address, was ordered to pay compensation of £157 to B&Q Stores and £629 to Currys, with magistrates saying that they had taken her guilty pleas into account when deciding on the penalty.
No prosecution costs or victim surcharge order was made.
