DEBUTANT striker Dan Smith said that Fylde’s third goal ‘killed them’ during their 4-1 defeat against AFC Fylde.
After conceding through an early free-kick two goals either side of half-time gave the visitors the three goal lead they hung on to.

“It was my first 90 minutes in ages,” said Smith talking to Keith Hall.
“I felt really good in the first half but in the second half I blew up a little bit. Hopefully I can get a few more games under my belt and feel better going forward.
“It was disappointing with the sloppy goals. I thought we played really well at points and looked well going forward especially in that first half.
“That early goal killed us a little bit in the second half. It’s one of them.”
