NEGATIVITY is not a word being used by the players at Edgar Street, despite Hereford without a league win since October 1.

Midfielder Tommy O'Sullivan said after Saturday's 2-1 defeat at home to Leamington that the Bulls are trying to look for the positives in everything, and a win is "just around the corner".

"Negativity isn't a word we should be using really. We haven't won but everyone is pulling together to do their best to get a win," said O'Sullivan.

"Everyone's positive and trying to look at things in an upbeat way. Can we get goals, get shots off, crosses in the box? We're not thinking negative at all. We've just go to keep going.

"I'm pretty sure results are just around the corner so we've just got to look ourselves now."

Most supporters felt Hereford put in a better performance on Saturday compared with others in recent weeks, and O'Sullivan said it was bad luck the Bulls were first to concede.

A corner was swung in and keeper Brandon Hall was crowded in the box, with the ball eventually being put in the back of the net.

"They've crowded the keeper and there were arms and shoulders everywhere," he added.

"It's what they'd done all day, they'd put balls long and put bodies around it. They've done their best and with their luck it's gone in the back of the net."

"I thought we were very much in the game, obviously a bit of bad luck conceding the first goal.

"We got back in the game, stepped it up, we did well to get back and raised our level and got the equaliser.

"We looked to come out in the second half and try to get that second but unfortunately early on then we took another set back conceding."
