STUDENTS at a Hereford college have had an early finish today (March 11).

In a Facebook post, Herefordshire College says it will be closed for the remainder of the day due to there being no water or gas at the campus.

"The issue is being resolved and we expect to be open again tomorrow morning as usual," it says.

We will let you know should the problems persist. Our website will also carry the latest information -"

It comes after Leominster Primary School pupils were told that they didn't need to go in today.

That was due to fault with its fire alarm - the second time that has happened at the school.

A post on its Facebook page says: "Unfortunately we have had to close the school today.

"This is due to health and safety regulations. The fire alarm is showing a fault."

An engineer was called, with staff sending pupils work to complete from home.
