A HEREFORD shop that sells household goods and kitchenware will be closing just a few months after it opened.

The shop, which is next to Regatta in High Town, does not have a name on the front but is called Home Store.

The owner has now confirmed that it will soon be closing its doors.

"It was a short-term lease and the landlord has sold this property and another one to a new owner," said Sushil Kumar.

"The new owner wants to do some renovation and gave us notice to move out. "

Mr Kumar explained why there is no name sign at the shop.

"We were about to put the board up but unfortunately had to take it down," he said.

"But it is called Home Store.

"Everything is reduced in price and we are trying to clear everything.

"I didn't have a shop before but I am from India. I tried my luck here but it didn't work out."
