A WEATHER warning has been issued for Herefordshire with thunderstorms on the way.
The Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms will come in to force at 2pm today (July 9) and remain in force until midnight tonight.
Forecasters at the Met Office said heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to break out this afternoon and move northwards, slowly dying out during the evening and first part of the night.

"Many places will miss these, but where they do occur, there is the chance of some localised impacts from heavy rain, as well as damage from lightning strikes," the Met Office said.
Around 10 to 20 millimetres of rain is possible in an hour or so, forecasters said, while some places could see up to 30 millimetres in a few hours.

What should I expect?
The Met Office said there is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water, leading to longer journey times by car and bus
Some flooding of a few homes and businesses is also possible, leading to some damage to buildings or structures, the Met Office said.
There could also be damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes.
