Nurse found guilty of trying to kill baby in retrial
Convicted child killer Lucy Letby from Hereford has been found guilty at Manchester Crown Court of the attempted murder of a baby girl at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The 34-year-old was previously convicted by another jury last August of the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of six others at the Countess of Chester Hospital’s neo-natal unit between June 2015 and June 2016.
Paedophile is jailed
A paedophile has been jailed for three years for sex offences involving a girl under the age of 13.
Thomas Worsfold pleaded guilty to two charges when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court.
Paedophile avoids jail
Another paedophile from Herefordshire who was caught communicating sexually with a child has avoided being sent to prison.
Worcester Crown Court heard in June how Marc Beale, 70, from Ocle Pychard, wanted to obtain sexual gratification from speaking to a girl aged under 16.
