IN response to the Lidl application regarding a new supermarket in Ledbury, I totally agree, this is definitely what Ledbury needs (Lidl revives new store bid, June 20).
In fact, I was quite disappointed when it was turned down the first time!
The addition of another supermarket is hugely important to serve our ever-increasing population in and around Ledbury.

Likewise, a new medical centre is absolutely paramount in this area. The only one we have now is stretched beyond its means!
I also sincerely believe such a project would definitely increase the footfall in Ledbury High Street and the town as a whole.

Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
Such a project, I am certain, would also encourage more residents to fill their trolleys locally as opposed to travelling out of town.
This is what Ledbury needs!
