OVERNIGHT closures are planned for a major Herefordshire route this month.
National Highways has announced a list of upcoming road closures on the M50. The closures are for maintenance works which will be carried out across two phases.
Phase one:
Roads teams will work overnight on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18, 2024, between 9pm and 6am.

To maintain safety, a full closure will be in force on the A449 northbound between Over Ross roundabout and M50 Traveller’s Rest roundabout. A full closure will also be in place on the A449 southbound approaching M50 Traveller’s Rest.
Phase two:
Work will be carried out overnight on Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21, 2024, between 9pm and 6am.
To maintain safety, a full closure will be in force on the M50 westbound from M50 junction 2 to M50 Travellers rest.
During closures, fully signed diversion routes will be in place, as shown in images above.
