A WOMAN has been ordered to pay a fine after stealing clothes from a shop.
Louise Sherwood, of Commercial Road, Hereford, admitted the offence when she appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on April 30.
The court heard from the Crown Prosecution Service’s Lauren Millichip that Sherwood had stolen clothing worth £298 on September 7 last year.
The 33-year-old was fined £80 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £32.
She was represented at the hearing last month by defence solicitor Fergus Maxwell.

The clothes were taken from House of Fraser in Chapel Walk, Worcester, a department store selling clothing, beauty products, homeware, furniture and more.
The chain went into administration in 2019 and was bought by Sports Direct for £90 million.
Last year, the Frasers group CEO Michael Murray said that eventually House of Fraser will disappear from the high street entirely, and will convert to just be called Frasers.
