A WOMAN will be sentenced next month after causing actual bodily hard in an attack in Herefordshire.

Nikita Park entered a guilty plea to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford in May.

The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Lauren Millichip that Park, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, had assaulted a woman in Leominster in an incident on August 21, causing her actual bodily harm.

The offence is a crime under section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.

Magistrates ordered that the case should be adjourned in order that a pre-sentencing report could be carried out by the probation service, and the 23-year-old was released on unconditional bail ahead of her next hearing.

Park, of Ballard Close, Ledbury, will appear before magistrates in Hereford again for her sentencing hearing on June 18.
