A MAN has been convicted of stealing items including a fake designer bag and a vape from cars in a Herefordshire town.
The stolen items were valued at at least £70 to £80, and were taken from cars in Kington by 34-year-old Thomas Hamilton.
He entered guilty pleas to three counts of theft from a motor vehicle and one count of attempted theft from a motor vehicle when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster last month.

The court heard from Lauren Millichip of the Crown Prosecution Service that Hamilton, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Aggrey, had stolen a fake Louis Vuitton handbag, a refillable vape and a set of horse clipper blades on January 28.
Hamilton, of Dunkirk Road, Bristol, was remanded on conditional bail to appear in court in Bristol for sentencing. A pre-sentencing report will be prepared by the probation service.
He was ordered to live and sleep at his home address while on bail until his sentencing.
