AN ABANDONED van was completely destroyed by fire in Herefordshire, with police now trying to speak to its owner.
Police had received a report from the fire service that a van that had been abandoned in Breinton and had been 100 per cent destroyed by fire.

A fire service spokesperson said: "A crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 1.23am on April 27 to a small vehicle on fire in Breinton, Hereford. A van was 100 per cent destroyed by fire which was extinguished by one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel jet. There were no casualties. Police were informed as the vehicle was abandoned."
A police spokesperson confirmed that the incident was being investigated and said: "Officers are currently attempting to speak with the owner."
The make and model of van and exact location of the incident have not been given by the fire service or police.
