A DRINK-DRIVER from Hereford who was caught out behind the wheel of a van while over the limit has been banned.
Stuart Davies entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 39-year-old from Hereford had been caught out in the city’s Holme Lacy Road after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Combo while over the drink-drive limit in February.

He was breathalysed and was found to have 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Davies, of Lewis Smith Avenue, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £120, with his guilty plea taken into account by magistrates.
He was also ordered to pay a £48 victim surcharge which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
