HEREFORD Times readers have written to us about why they believe a bypass is needed in the city.
Build it now
Please build the western bypass.
We retired to Bodenham two years ago. If we had known what a traffic disaster the so-called city of Hereford is we would have gone elsewhere. We try to shop elsewhere.
Get on with it.

Better route
I don't live in Hereford, but I do shop there and pass through slowly depending on the time.
Wouldn't an eastern bypass make more sense giving better access to the industrial estate and the M5?

No houses!
The eastern bypass would be far preferable to the houses they were proposing for that area for two reasons.
Firstly, the houses would ruin the Lugg Meadows and, secondly, that land is unstable.
