A BUSY Hereford road was closed after two cars were involved in a crash.
A woman was medically trapped and had to be released by the fire service using tools before being handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said Roman Road was closed following the crash that happened at around 1.50pm on Saturday (March 23).

It was reopened by police once the area was cleared. Crews left the scene at around 3.25pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said that, once released from the car, the woman was treated by ambulance staff for injuries not believed to be serious.
She was then taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police confirmed that officers were also sent to the scene.
