DRIVERS won't be allowed to park outside a Hereford pub next week.

Drainage work will be carried out in Harold Street, outside the Volunteer Inn, for five days from next Monday (April 1).

Herefordshire Council say the alternative route for anyone affected by the works is via Park Street, onto St James Road and then Green Street.

Other roadworks will also be taking place in the county next week.

Also next Monday, The Barrow and the C1140 in Cradley will be closed due to pole testing works. The alternative route for anyone affected by the closure is via Nupend Lane, then onto the C1140 and Greenhill.

Hillfield Road in Ledbury, meanwhile, will be closed for three days from next Tuesday (April 2), outside Bramblewood.

This, the council says, is due to civil works, no alternative route in place.
