A BMW driver was over three times the drug-drive limit on cocaine and cannabis when he was behind the wheel.

Corey Jones, of Hollybush Walk, Hereford, was driving a white BMW in Hinton Road, Hereford, when he was caught out with the drugs in his system.

The 23-year-old, who was represented by Matt Lewis, had seven microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol and 201 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine in his blood.

The legal driving limit of delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol is two microgrammes, and the legal limit of benzogylecgonine is 50 microgrammes.

Jones, who pleaded guilty to the offence, has not yet been sentenced. A pre-sentence report is being prepared, with Jones due to appear in court again on February 28.
