WITH reference to the pear tree getting the chop in Pear Tree Close, Much Dewchurch, perhaps they should take down the Pear Tree Close entrance sign (Axe for wasp plagued tree, December 21).
I wonder what they would name it then. Perhaps Pear Drops Close?
