A BUILDING plot is up for sale in a sought-after Hereford spot.

The site, in the "sought-after residential area" of Hampton Park area of Hereford, comes complete with outline planning permission, which was granted in November, for a single home to be built on it.

The site, in Old Eign Hill, is being marketed by agents Sunderlands with a guide price of £110,000 and will be sold by informal tender.

The agents said the sale offers prospective purchasers a "wonderful opportunity" and that it is an ideal purchase for developers or buyers wishing to build their own property.

"It should be noted that the adjoining bungalow which needs renovating is also being offered for sale at the same time but separately," the agents said.

The site is around a mile from the city centre, to which there are regular buses, with nearby local amenities including a shop, hairdresser, and schools.

Sunderlands said that they understand there is mains water, electricity, and gas nearby, and that it is proposed that the buyer either forms a separate mains connection or an easement is granted to share the neighbouring property's connection.

The site is for sale by informal tender, although the vendor reserves the right to accept an offer prior to the tender date.

All tenders must be completed on the agent's informal tender document only. All details must be completed and signed. The tender document must be sealed in an envelope marked ‘Tender for Building Plot at 36 Old Eign Hill, Hereford, HR1 1TX’ addressed to Nigel Highfield, Sunderlands LLP, Offa House, St Peters Square, Hereford, HR1 2PQ.

The tender document must be received by 12 noon on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
