AN ABUSIVE man has been up before the magistrates after an incident at Hereford's railway station.
David Jones entered a guilty plea to one count of causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm, or distress by words or writing when he appeared by video link before magistrates in Hereford in December.

The court heard from the prosecutor that Jones had used threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm, or distress, and that the offence was racially aggravated, at Hereford railway station on April 26.
The 49-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Rhodri Chudleigh, was handed an 18-month conditional discharge for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had found that the offence was racially aggravated but that they had taken his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision.
Jones, of Pwll Y Waun, Porthcawl, was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £125 and a £26 victim surcharge.
