I WAS intrigued by Steve Hancorn’s letter regarding the similarity between the Hereford and South Herefordshire constituency and that of the ill-fated Mid-Bedfordshire seat (Letters, October 26) and the possibility of a change of MP at the next election.

I will be a little sad if that happens as, despite having no respect for the Tory party, I think Jesse Norman is a very good MP.

Perhaps we should look north, where Sir Bill Wiggin’s seat is being targeted for an upset. He must be hoping that Lib Dem, Labour and Green parties never get their act together and start collaborating.
