BONFIRE night is just around the corner and many people will be marking the occasion with fireworks, food, sparklers, and more.

Here are a few of the fireworks displays taking place in the county in the upcoming weeks.

Hereford

  • The Hereford Rowing Club will allow visitors to enter the site at 6pm on November 3, with a bonfire set to be lit at 6:30 pm and fireworks from 7 pm. Adult tickets cost £5 but children can attend for free.
  • A free-to-attend bonfire night will be held at Tupsley Quarry on November 5, with a Guy Fawkes competition, food vans, rides and inflatables all set for the evening. Gates will open at 5.30pm.
  • The Secret Garden, situated on the edge of Hereford off Coldwells Road will host a fireworks display on November 5. Gates open at 5pm with fireworks from 6.30pm. Adult tickets are £10 and under-16s are £2.

Weobley

  • The Weobley Primary School firework display is back on November 5 this year. Gates will open at 5.30pm, with the display commencing at 7pm. Adult tickets cost £6 and children’s tickets cost £3.

Ross-On-Wye

  • The Ross-on-Wye event has been cancelled due to weather concerns.

Orleton

  • The Orleton Young Farmers Club will be holding their annual bonfire night at Orelton Recreation ground on November 5. Their bonfire will be lit at 6.30, with the fireworks display starting at 7pm. Adult tickets are £7, children are £4 and family tickets are £20.

Madley

  • Madley Parish Council will be hosting their fireworks display at the recreation grounds in Madley on November 3. The event starts at 6.15 pm, with fireworks from 7 pm. A donation to Madley Parish Council Charities is encouraged.

Ledbury

  • Aston Ingham Cricket Club will hold their bonfire night on November 3. Gates open at 5:30 pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7 pm with fireworks soon after. Adult tickets are £5, under-16s are £3 and under-5s are free.

Abbey Dore

  • A bonfire night will be held at the Gwatkin Red Cow on November 3. Entry is free and there will be live music, a kitchen BBQ and Guy Fawkes competition. There will be no fireworks due to livestock.
