TICKETS are now available for a popular Herefordshire pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Pete’s will be opening for their sixth year from October 7 to 31, with over 20 varieties of pumpkins and gourdes planted.

Tickets for ‘pick your own pumpkin’ are sold per car with a maximum of six people per car, added charges will apply on the day if more than six people arrive.

They will also be running themed activities weekends with food from local traders.

October 7 and 8 will be dinosaur weekend, offering walking with dinosaurs in the pumpkin patch. Origin Pizza from Hay-on-Wye will be providing fresh artisan pizza. Entry will cost £22 per car.

On October 14 and 15 there will be arts and crafts with the DIY Tribe, they will also have stall holders selling handmade crafts and Hereford’s the Grubshed selling loaded fries. Entry will cost £5 per car.

On October 21 and 22 the Beefy Boys will be in attendance with Sinfully Delicious, Party Floss and Queen of Tarts. Entry will cost £6 per car.

During the half term from October 27 through to 30 there will be animal experience days. Visitors will be given a ‘hands-on’ experience with spiders, snakes, owls and some meerkats. Origin Pizza will be returning as well as Loolum Bakehouse, Queen of Tarts, Cakes by Victoria and Emma’s Farmhouse Café. Entry will cost £7 per car.

October 31 is party day. There will be an age three to five Halloween party in the morning and age six to nine party in the afternoon hosted by Dazzles with prizes for best costume, dancer, glow sticks and spooky catering. Entry will cost £14.50 per child.
