POLICE have confirmed that it is believed a house fire in Hereford was started deliberately.
Emergency services were called to Fallowfield Close, in the Redhill area of the city after a fire engulfed the property at around 1am yesterday (Sunday) morning.
A police cordon and scene guard were in place throughout the day.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endangering life and taken into custody.
