A CELEBRATION showcasing local food, music, and poetry will be held to mark the end of Ledbury Poetry Festival.

The event, organised by Ledbury Food Group, Ledbury Poetry and Ledbury Town Council, is completely free, including parking in the town’s public car parks.

A small outdoor food and drink market will feature live music, a choice of local produce and street food and poetry readings from local poets. There will be a particular focus on sustainability at the event.

Performers include young poets Emma Clowsley and Chloe Jacquet, local bands the Rohan, the Hey Yahs and Four Crying Out Loud and musician George Montague.

The event will be held in the historic setting of St Katherine’s in Ledbury, next to the 15th century market house, on Sunday, July 9. Visitors can come along between 11am and 4pm, with entertainment from midday.

The celebration has been a popular occasion in previous years and is suitable for all the family.
