AN ATTACKER who committed a racially aggravated assault and was caught out on the roads while banned and almost three times the limit will be sentenced next month.

Donna Lawley entered guilty pleas to one count of driving while disqualified, one of drink-driving, one of racially or religiously aggravated assault by beating, one of driving without insurance, and two of assault by beating when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford in March.

Hereford Times:

The court heard that the 44-year-old had been caught out after getting behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia in The Southend, Ledbury, while disqualified, without insurance, and while over the drink-driving limit on August 10.

OTHER NEWS:

An evidential breath test revealed that she had 97 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Hereford Times:

She had also assaulted two people by beating on the same day, and committed a further offence of assault by beating, which was racially aggravated, the court heard.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Lawley, of Biddulph Way, Ledbury, was released on unconditional bail.

She will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on April 24.
