AN ACCUSED Hereford man has been sent for trial after denying assault and criminal damage charges.
Kelvin Tinton appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in March accused of one count of causing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000, and one count of assault by beating.

The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Mr Razaq that the 24-year-old is accused of, without reasonable excuse, intentionally or recklessly damaging an internal door belonging to a woman in Hereford on March 5.
He is also accused of assaulting the same woman by beating on the same date, the court heard.
The case was sent for trial and Tinton, of Campbell Close, Hereford, was released on conditional bail ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford next for trial on April 17.
