A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been sent for trial accused of asking a child for nude pictures.
Danny Price appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in March accused of one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The court heard from prosecutor Valerie Hart that the 36-year-old is accused of intentionally attempting to sexually communicate with a person aged under 16, who he did not reasonably believe to be 16 or over, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification.
He is alleged to have asked her to send nude photographs, photographs of herself in the bath, and asked her to meet in person in Leominster between January 2 and March 7.

Price, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Andrew Cleal, entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
The case was sent to trial and Price, of Turnpike Caravan Site, Pembridge, was released on bail with conditions not to instigate contact with anyone aged under 16 except where unavoidable in the course of everyday life, and to report to Hereford police station.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for trial on May 11.
