A SEXUAL assault-accused man has been sent to the crown court.

Stephen Headland appeared before a district judge in Kidderminster in February accused of five counts of sexual assault.

The court heard from prosecutor Shawn Williams that the 32-year-old is accused of intentionally sexually touching a woman without their consent and when he did not reasonably believe they were consenting in Worcester on August 7, 2021 and in Hereford on November 6, 2021.

He is accused of committing the same offence on a second woman in Hereford on September 24, 2021.
