The court heard from prosecutor Andy Saunders that the company had failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Volkswagen who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police in Droitwich, Worcestershire, on August 25.
Imrie Jones Ltd, of Pencombe, Bromyard, was fined £1,000 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken the guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
The company was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110 and a £400 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
